If you have to mention the most beautiful National Park in The Netherlands, mention the Biesbosch. The mysterious creeks, filled with Beavers and Kingfishers, singing Nightingale's and staring Roe Deers from small dikes. Disturbing White-tailed Eagles over moaning Willows. Golden reed in winter light. Or stormy water, like in the days the Biesbosch was formed by water during the Saint-Elisabeths flood in 1421.
Last Monday I joined forester Theo Muusse for a boattrip to the western part of the Biesbosch. Hoping to see some of reported the Red-throated Loons, Velvet or Black Scoters which are fine species for the Dutch inland. Only one Loon showed up. Maybe we missed some other nice stuff because it was very windy and rainy. However, it was a nice afternoon with typical Dutch weather. I have taken some shots.
